Volunteer
The OSYO can’t function well without the support of our great parent volunteers. We ask that each season, one parent from each family will act as a parent monitor for one Tuesday rehearsal (for the orchestra your child is enrolled in). Schedules are emailed at the beginning of the season. In addition, we ask for volunteer assistance with concerts/special events and/or rehearsals throughout the season.
Parents are also required to attend the Annual General Meeting at King’s Christian Collegiate during rehearsal. At this meeting, our board members and operating budget are confirmed.
Volunteer for Bingo Night
As one of our sponsors, every year we volunteer for a Bingo night at Oakville Delta Bingo and Gaming. The volunteer will be expected to monitor their back entrance during a gaming night on December 30th from 4-6 p.m.
Volunteer for Weekly Rehearsals
We have two volunteer shifts available and require 3 volunteers every night
- 5:30-6:00 p.m.

- 6:30-7:30 p.m.
- (Checking COVID screening and may help set-up rehearsal room)
- 2 volunteers needed
