Caron Allen is a graduate of Queen’s University School of Music as a double performance major on flute and cello.

Following playing professionally in Europe, she relocated to the Peel Region. As a music teacher with the Peel Region schools, she founded two string programs in addition to teaching choral and band programs. Her orchestras and bands have won numerous awards at various provincial and national music festivals

Caron Allen has been teaching string and band programs in the Kingston and Greater Toronto Areas for 20 years.

Caron has performed as a professional cellist in orchestras across Ontario, including Kingston, Windsor, Niagara, Oshawa-Durham and the Royal Opera Canada Orchestras. She toured China as a cellist with the Ontario Festival Symphony Orchestra.

Recently retired from teaching in the Peel District School Board, she continues to teach in her private studio. Caron is also sought after as a clinician and adjudicator throughout Ontario.
